Wordless Wednesday: Favorite Christmas Memories of 2010

  

 

These are a few of my favorite things…

Christmas was such a mix of emotions for me.  I was happy, I was sad, I was missing friends, I was tired, I was hyped up, I was ready for it to get here and then couldn’t wait for it to end.

Next year I will do things differently. 

I won’t participate in events that I know won’t leave me happy.  Even if that means skipping out on family events.  I refuse to leave anywhere crying on Christmas day…it won’t happen again.

I WILL do more Aunt Janna/Nonnie-Granny nights…the kids, Nonnie and I had a BLAST watching my favorite Christmas movie and eating popcorn while having a mini slumber party on Nonnie and Papaw’s floor…even if I did break my little toe on a big gigantic metal flashlight that Thomas left out…

I will spend more time doing things with people that love and care about me.

I won’t go overboard on Christmas gifts…because in the end I get my feelings hurt if they aren’t as well received as I thought they would be.

I will do Christmas cards again…that was fun and I really hope people enjoyed them as much as I enjoyed doing them.

I will get rid of the sweets before they are consumed by me…

I will be more grateful for what people get me…

I will be more grateful for the people in my life…

So here are a few of my favorite things that I was blessed to get for Christmas!

   

I can’t wait to get on my bike again…and I am SO happy to have my necklace back around my neck…

I am very blessed to have such great family and friends…and I am working on remembering that each and every day…

A Kenz Style Christmas…

I have had so much fun becoming friends with Kenz…she is going to be a life long friend…I just know it!

Kenz and I hosted another version of 12 Days of Christmas Swap…and here is my loot from her…thanks again for everything Kenz…I had fun!  NOW…get your butt to Austin :)

Day 1:  An Aggie Mug…my tu friend bought me an Aggie mug…thanks friend!  :)

Day 2:  Some love for my hair…and let me tell you…it has been very happy!

Day 3:  A cool Christmas Tree Ornament

Day 4:  A nifty new water bottle…you can NEVER have too many of these!

Day 5:  A plethora of antibacterial stuff…and a new shower thingy :)

Day 6:  Fuzzy Socks!

Day 7:  Ginger Bread Diffuser Oil

Day 8:  A SECOND hat that Kenz knitted JUST FOR ME :)  modeled by Reese…of course :)

Day 9:  Hot Chocolate in a cute container!

Day 10:  A pumpkin Candle :)

Day 11:  Burt’s Bees…LOVE!

Day 12:  An ass whooping via my girl Jillian!

I had an absolute BLAST participating in Sami & Evelyn’s 12 Days of Christmas Swap!  Shortmama was my partner…and I loved everything she got for me…

I hope she had as much fun!  Can’t wait to do it again next year!

Man…I wanted to do a post everyday on what I got…but life got in the way this past weekend :)
